Poker player uses “Eureka” meditation to win BIG !

As you get to know us better you’ll come to understand that helping people, and doing our best to change the world one person at a time, is our overriding mission at this site.

It’s all about SERVING

We SERVE by researching.

We SERVE by interviewing.

We SERVE by writing.

We SERVE by teaching.

We SERVE by not falling into the status quo.

We SERVE by keeping things candid, straightforward, and refreshingly REAL.

We SERVE by not offering you the standard, regurgitated, G-Rated “spiritual rhetoric” that so permeates the self-growth arena.

We SERVE by being passionate about what we do, and sharing what we find along the way.

And, we SERVE by doing all the above with a genuine “love of the game” attitude.

Yes, these experiences we partake in — you too — are nothing more or less than “games” of the heart, mind, and soul.

= = =

Regardless of what the spiritual pundits say, the purpose of any game — whether business game, relationship game, athletic game, or board game — is to WIN.

Some have said that Life isn’t a game that can be WON or LOST, only played.

But, we beg to differ.

Certainly, unlike all other man-made games, Life doesn’t have a definitive rule book telling us what the game is all about.

Nonetheless, it’s still a competition. You’re up against other players’ (humans’) ideas, rules, creations, and initiatives every day.

And sometimes your biggest competitor is yourself.

Yep, no doubt… each day you face serious burdens. Maybe you don’t make enough money. Your love life is boring. You hate your work.

Perhaps you dislike where you live. Your coworkers are unfriendly. You do things you regret. Ahh, well, you get the point. You, like us, face lifestyle, business, and personal obstacles daily.

So, if you finally decide to do something about it, what do you do?

Here’s a thought…

Go all the way by PLAYING TO IMPROVE.

But, have fun (and explore) while doing it.

If this current life experience is nothing more than a virtual-reality game that you might play in your living room on your X-box 360, then doesn’t it make sense to give it all you’ve got?

Why go half way?

See, you truly DO win at life when you’re doing THREE main things EVERYDAY.

This is what John Milton Fogg, in the book The Grestest Networker in The World, dubbed as “accomplishing accomplishment.”

According to John, all three ingredients MUST be present to accomplish accomplishment:

Ingredient #1) You Get Results (if not: no satisfaction)

Ingredient #2) You Learn, Grow, and Develop (if not: you get left behind)

Ingredient #3) You Have Fun (if not: you burn out)

If just one or two of the above ingredients are being utilized, you’re losing.

To WIN every day, all three must be present.

Who do you know that’s been in a situation where they were getting results, they learned something new, but didn’t have any fun?

Maybe that was (or is) you!

Or, maybe you know people who learn, grow and attempt to develop their butt off… but aren’t getting results. That could either be the business person not “increasing sales” or the monastery monk who isn’t engaging in modern-day life.

Yes, RESULTS count in the mix of this experience you’ve put yourself in. Don’t let any well-meaning, but nearsighted, sage, guru, or so-called wiseman (or woman) tell you otherwise.

There’s more to the game of life than just trying to play things safe, striving for perpetual bliss, or engaging in Utopian people-pleasing activities.

Competition, which truly is at the very foundation of your life (you just need to see it), involves challenge, risk, adapation, and inner resourcefulness.

If you’re not striving for something, if you’re not creating, if you’re not offering value to others, if you’re not questioning things you’ve been told (including what we’re saying here), if you’re constantly trying to just “fit in”, if you’re just going through the motions, if you’re not exploring your inner AND outer world — in deep, deep ways — you’re LOSING at the game of life.

So yes, when they say, “It’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how you play the game,” they’re right. But how you play the game needs to be the best you can play, giving all you’ve got to the world in the process; and if you can do that, then you have won.

Throw that ball as far as you can. Spin that wheel as fast as you can. Draw the cards as skillfully as you can. Know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em, know when to walk away, and know when to run.

But never, never give up.

A winner never quits, and a quitter never wins.

One of our favorite tools for playing the best darn game we can, day in and day out, is the brainwave entrainment meditation MP3.

But we like it shaken, not stirred. With a little pizzazz, a little show, a little glitz and glamor. We like the world’s only music-based brainwave entrainment audios found at Harmonic Ascension.

And it seems one of our Harmonic Ascension audios is the new favorite tool of your fellow community member, James Murphy, too.

Here’s the unsolicited testimonial he just left in our forum:

Hi Jody, Merry Christmas. I hope you had a great one. I just wanted to thank you for the free downloads. I wanted to comment on Eureka for just a second.

I play poker online as a semi pro, it’s my second job. I stay home and take care of my 2 year old daughter and play at night. I had been on a bad losing streak. I was playing poorly, not just getting unlucky, as is usually the case if I’m losing.

So I thought, why not put on your Eureka meditation while I play. Maybe it will help me focus. WOW!!!!! I can’t believe what a difference it made. I have never played better.

Before that I was unsure of where I stood in any given hand, second guessing myself at every turn. I put the headphones on and almost instantly I was locked in. I seemed to know where I stood in each hand. If I was ahead I knew it, behind, I knew it. I was reading people better than I had ever done in the past. This is online poker, so you get even less info on players than live, obviously. But there are tells even online.

I went from a massive losing streak to a streak of cashing in my next 5 games! I took 3rd twice, second in the next, and then I won the next 2 outright!

There is no way this is a coincidence, I have played enough to know. I will now be playing every game with Eureka on my headphones, because now 2 nights in a row I have been on top of my game like never before. Thanks for the gift, I have been telling my friends about it as much as possible. Take care, and Happy New Year

Sincerely, James Murphy

  1. Hi Heather and Barry…

Great points in that post! Life is all about striving for something that is very meaningful to you and others… the competition we have is to be the very best we can every second of every day.
If you can view competition away from power… I think that’s when you get the true meaning of it. Life is a competition… it just depends on what you see as the prize —

    Best wishes

  2. I enjoyed the music for Christmas yet have not made time to meditate on it. Your points in the Buckle up for the ride of your life are quite valid in many ways and provokes the thoughts that I have not meditated on a direction because I’m not ready to move on. I look forward to reading more from you and I know that I’m really looking for something new over the same things I have heard and read for many years. Call it the inspirations that make me move. Have a safe New Years. Lady J
