    The audio doesn’t work – just loud static. I’m on a MAC if that makes a difference for the windows users.

    I had the same experience of just loud static noise. I also operate a MAC.

    – not a problem with any of that – and I agree whole heartedly with you – unfortunately I was suckered in by one such person (cost me $60 US) I am from Australia by the way.
