The Millionaire Boss… Truly a Leveraged Life?

Today Jeff Wellman launched the long-awaited follow-up to Lay Off Your Boss, called The Millionaire Boss. Seeing a bit of a theme there?

But this time he’s not saying your boss is a millionaire… he’s saying that YOU can become your OWN BOSS, and be a millionaire at the same time.

Millionaire — the elusive status symbol. I dare say Jeff Wellman himself has not yet reached millionaire status, but he does seem to be on his way.

I met him several months ago while he was working on his very first information product, trying to help people in the same boat as he was — about to be laid off from a job he worked at for 20 years. Or, he argued, why wait for that happen? Just go ahead and lay off your boss now if you had the means.

And the means were in the product… which was essentially how to do what he just did, and create your own product.

I was one of the experts he interviewed, and he interviewed me about interviewing, of course. How to find experts, how to get them to agree to be interviewed, how to ask the right questions… stuff I had just presented at a seminar I was speaking at, and Jeff was attending.

He came with his son, Keith Wellman, who was mentoring Jeff through the process. So Jeff had the opportunity to learn from one of the best in the business… but he still proved the ability to get past the limiting beliefs like, “I’m too old for this,” or “I don’t know anything about this,” and just go for it, with no experience and at 40+ years old.

Now with The Millionaire Boss, he has teamed up with Brian Edmonson, who I also met for the first time a few months ago at a seminar (after talking to him and interviewing him by phone a few times). Brian is famous for paying Mike Filsaime to be his mentor, and selling enough of the original Butterfly Marketing package to land him in the top 20 affiliates with a list of only about 1200.

I have taken a look at the product — which includes ongoing coaching calls with Jeff and Brian — and it’s a good deal for the price. Especially if you’re just starting out, this product will walk you through how to get started online with your own home-based business… and become your own Millionaire Boss.

If you’ve already been kicking around the internet awhile, there’s probably not much here that you don’t know… but if you’re a beginner, learning from two guys who were beginners themselves not too long ago and made a big splash along the way is likely going to be a great way to go for you.

You’ll be walked through the 5-step process for becoming a Millionaire Boss including knowing for sure you possess the right qualities, having your business plan in place, finding and researching your niche, building your list, and affiliate marketing.

If you want to go further you’ll get instructions on things like how to create your own information product in a variety of formats, and outsourcing or hiring to leverage your time.

You’ll also find a series of video tutorials on registering a domain name, using FTP, getting familiar with your web host, and a bunch of other mundane things that seem to constantly derail the beginner who gets overwhelmed.

And there are archived teleseminar recordings covering various topics with people who have been there, too.

One caution I have about the ebooks you get with the package is Jeff’s tendency to write about what is “most profitable” for you and what has the “most perceived value” when talking about creating information products.

Okay, great, you can easily create something that, if marketed right, can make you a lot of money.

But to me, that’s not the most important part of creating something. The most important part is ensuring you’re creating value for the customer.

Guess what? If you create value… the money will come.

If you don’t create value… the money will be fleeting.

Bottom line.

So if you understand that — and you’re looking for some how-to guidance to get an internet business going, then The Millionaire Boss might be for you.

  1. Heather,

Yes it is overwhelming and if you keep buying. . (like me),
you will never, ever make any money. I would like to be
working with Stone Evans. As far as I am concerned, he
has a lot of excellent context in everything that he sends
    out.

I want to plug a book; Power Of Believing. . How You Can
Create The Life You Want by Karim Hajee. I cannot say
enough about this book and would like to recommend
it to aspiring young men and women who would like
to change their life for the better!!

    Thank you Heather,

    Tom Leighton from Lewes, Delaware
