How To Create Dazzling Video Montages

Whewwwww, what a bit of fun we’ve had over the past week or so.

Opening up and sharing the non-business side of our life, via music-driven video montages, has prompted a lot of you to instantly hit the REPLY button on your email.

We’ve received quick comments, at our support desk, like:

Holy smokes, you both have an amazing, fun-filled, relaxing, enviable life behind the scenes.” (Thanks… it truly just SEEMS like we ONLY work our butts off, in a sincere, frantic kind of way, all day and all night).

It’s good to see both of you like that… I’m used to perceiving you as the interviewers and writers shaking things up a bit… but, the Love Without Limits vids you did but a big fat smile on my face… feel like I know you much better now.” (You’re welcome. But, just wait till you corner us at a seminar or live event and tell us you brought us some high-priced cheese. Yep, just remember that. We love the good stuff).

Cheers to you and Heather, your soul mate, you guys are too damn cute on that video!” (We didn’t mean to be… we’re just made that way. Yes, the pleasure of making them were all ours).

Now you went and done it… created a sappy, but heart-warming, love video, and now my wife’s gonna expect one.” (No worries, this post will save the day for ya).

So, while the congrats and Atta-boy / Atta-girl replies came rushing into our support system, another kind of reply topped the list of tickets last week.

The theme went something like this:

“I will so owe you big time if you tell me what program you used to create those videos!” … and… “Wow, what video player / hosting service are you using to embed the videos on your LWL blog?” … and… “Can I pay you to create some montages for me? I have a lot of family videos, and I need some direction on where to start?”

Basically, the “How To” questions piled up.

So, in this blog, we’re going to REVEAL two things:

#1) The video editing software we used to CREATE Love Without Limits, Part 1 & 2, and the video conversion / hosting service we’ve been using for over a year, with great results.

#2) The name of two entrepreneurs, who after they experienced first-hand the difficulties of mixing and sharing video, created a little-known free site (so few people know about it, but need to) for making the video process — from creation, editing, effects, and conversion, to hosting and sharing — fast, fun and rewarding ! Your grandmother, or anyone even with a smidgen of computer experience, could use this site to output eye-popping video / photo montages.

Read on (and see our third montage video) by clicking the “continue reading..” link. You’re going to love the resources we’re sharing with you so you can do what we’ve done (and even better).

===========

Adobe Premiere Element 4.0

If we do in-house raw video editing, clipping / cutting, adding effects, transitions, etc, we start with Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0.

It’s certainly part of the enthusiast-level / home-user class of video editing suites (iMovie, Windows Movie Maker, Pinnacle Studio, Sony Vegas); yet, it far surpasses, in our opinion, any of the products in this class.

We got it as part of an Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 and Premiere Elements 4 bundle, when we bought a recent Laptop from Dell.com.

The program works well for beginning editors, and has many useful features such as editing video, adding titles, adding musical accompaniment, and adding voice-overs. It can save products on DVDs and for web-sharing on YouTube.

It’s intuitive, has an extensive help menu, and is cost-effective (around $80 at Amazon.com).

OurVideoHub.com

We’ve been looking for a one-stop-stop learning resource in reference to all things video for a long time.

It had to be a place where the owner has a genuine, all-consuming passion for researching, sifting, sorting, and passing on the BEST tools, tips, and techniques to help us utilize web video in our business.

We basically wanted to find somebody that does in the video arena what we do in the spiritual-growth / human-potential arena: live, eat, sleep and breath their
passion.

We found that person in Joe Chapuis.

He absolutely provides the best-of-class “how to” monetize-video info on the net.

He’s an intelligent, forward-thinking, all-around likable business man who has put together a niche video RESOURCE site you’ll want to go to often.

And, here’s the best part: he provides his members with one of the most interactive, and feature-rich video-players available. And, it comes with hosting too.

Go to the web’s premier internet video resource center now.

The Downside ?

So, if the above two resources can give you what you need to be pumping out
high-quality, attention-grabbing, interactive video presentations to your blog(s) or website(s), why are we recommending something else ?

Well, in the world of video, it’s all about TIME.

And, we’re not talking about video length… or, anything technical there.

Simply, however, the TIME you have to learn, work with, and become a video
artist.

As parents with young children, Mark Moore and John Love discovered what many do – that family videos pile up because most of us lack the time or interest to master complex video tools required to convert media into compelling stories.

This is why, in 2005, they worked diligently to create a service that is both powerful and fun to use.

Imagine this: a company who has ALREADY hired the best people they know to bring technology to bear in the pursuit of one goal:

Allowing anybody to express themselves, through archived / dormant video and photo files on their computer, through the click of a few buttons.

We found this gem of a site about a week ago and we we’re, for lack of better superlative, blown away at what they provide.

By uploading your videos (.avi, .mos, .mp4, etc.) and/or still photos (.jpg or .jpeg) to your account, their user-friendly system, through your input, will transform your files, almost instantly, into shareable online videos, DVDs or photo books.

You can use this service for free with limited access to all of the fantastic features they offer. Free version features are:

-Quickstyles, effects and transitions
-Premium Quickstyles at $2.99 each
-Storage space: 200 photos and/or 10-15 min. of video (up to 200 MB)
-Montage song limits: 3 per montage
-Personal TiVo Channel/2 anytime TiVo shares

That’s still not a bad deal, but with their Premium service (at an amazingly small fee of $40 for a year), the features you will have access to include:

-A free pro-quality DVD worth up to $24.99
-Quickstyles, effects and transitions
-Premium Quickstyles
-Premium music
-Unlimited Storage space
-Unlimited montage songs
-Personal TiVo Channel/2 anytime TiVo shares
-5 monthly TiVo shares
-Custom embeddable online players
-Download to your PC/Mac or video iPod

The service is very easy to use. They offer a high quality DVD of your montage and photo books, among other personalized items as well.

Here is a little montage we put together to show you how much fun all of the different features are:

Make video montages at www.LWLMedia.com

We know you’re going to love this service.

Just click on the link underneath our Montage shown above.

Mark and John have made the entire process very easy for you to direct: you select your Montage design, the video clips and photos, the sequencing, and the music. If you were to attempt to make the same quality montage with computer software, you would face considerably greater expense, learning time, and potential storage issues on your computer.Believe us… we know. The montage above (Part 3 of “Love Without Limits”), using LWLMedia.com (One True Media), cut our production time by 75%.

Yep, it’s a feature-packed, fun, easy-to-use time-saver.

And, this is precisely the kind of cutting-edge company and resource site we love passing on to you.

Your Partners in the Quest For
Living a Life Without Limits,

Barry and Heather
