We were hosting one of our famous 2-on-1 simulcasts<\/a> several months ago and when we opened up the lines, like we always do towards the end of the call, one of the lucky attendees got a chance to ask their question to our guest mentor.<\/p>\n Our loyal regulars always know the protocol, which is for them to ask a concise, clear question, and then, er, well pause long enough for our teacher to answer.<\/p>\n But, for whatever reason, we got a \u2018talker\u2019 this time around and it was almost hard to interrupt him. All we could do is listen to a man, from Indiana, tell the most incredible version of a self-sabotaging personal experience.<\/p>\n Meaning, he was pretty descriptively on-target<\/em> about his current financial reality – i.e., complaining and whining\u00a0 to our guest mentor, like it was acceptable to hog the line, about how hard it is for him to travel and enjoy dormant hobbies because he\u2019s working a 50-hour per week JOB that\u2019s making him, in his own words, \u201cjust over broke.\u201d<\/p>\n Not only that, he told us how he\u2019s only 7 years away from retirement age with little or no funds and that Social Security may not be there for him.<\/p>\n Yes, the comments \/ questions went on and on\u2026 \u201chow am I supposed to stay positive and focused when there hasn\u2019t been any improvement with my money situation?\u201d; \u201cthe only reason you guys make money is because you sell your knowledge and products\u2026\u201d blah, blah, blah\u2026<\/p>\n ( click on the \u201ccontinue reading…\u201d link below to read our mentor\u2019s response )<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Our guest teacher, in the most delicate but \u2018take notice\u2019 manner, said: \u201cWow, that\u2019s pretty darn good. With a lot of detailed emotion, you\u2019ve just mastered the art of getting exactly what you expect.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWud ya mean?\u201d the caller quickly asked.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s simple\u201d, he continued, \u201cbut I also know it\u2019s so hard for folks who are used to immersing themselves into illusionary experiences. Like you, a lot of people\u2019s reality will automatically line up in a way so that it can provide them with proof of whatever they choose to focus on and believe.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The caller was still confused and said, \u201cbut, how\u2019s that relate to my financial situation?\u201d<\/p>\n Our guest mentor went on to explain how this person\u2019s vivid self-talk and descriptions to us about what was really going on in his life was causing him to proliferate<\/span> that reality into his experience.<\/p>\n Let us give you a scene from a fairly recent Hollywood movie that might help you understand this whole idea of how everything in your life is the way it is because of how you think about and describe to others your unwanted realities.<\/p>\n The Wedding Date<\/em> is a romantic comedy starring Debra Messing and Dermot Mulroney.<\/p>\n In the movie, Kat (Messing) is flying to London to attend her sister\u2019s wedding where Kat\u2019s ex-fiance (who dumped her) is going to be the best man. To create the illusion that she\u2019s moved on with her life and is unaffected by the break-up, she hires an escort (Mulroney) to pretend to be her new fiance. She found him by reading an interview of him in a magazine.<\/p>\n At one point in the movie, she\u2019s talking to Nick (played by Mulroney) about a comment in the interview that she didn\u2019t agree with.<\/p>\n She reads the section to him:<\/p>\n \u201cYou said (and I quote), \u2018I believe every woman has the exact love life she wants\u2019\u2026 do you honestly believe that I want to be single and miserable? Do you think I want to be hung up on some guy who led me on for years and then \u2014 out of the blue \u2014 shattered my heart?\u201d<\/p>\n Nick replies, \u201cFirst of all, there\u2019s no such thing as \u2018out of the blue\u2019. And secondly\u2026 yeah, I do.\u201d<\/p>\n She\u2019s incredulous.<\/p>\n She yells, \u201cWhat??\u201d<\/p>\n Nick says, \u201cWhen you\u2019re ready to let go, to be un-single and un-miserable\u2026 you will. Till then\u2026\u201d and walks away.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n There\u2019s a HUGE lesson there that most people don\u2019t get. Even the ones who SAY they get it<\/em> don\u2019t really get it. And, just like the case with the caller above, you can tell they don\u2019t get it because they\u2019re not living it<\/a>.<\/p>\n The basic lesson is very simple<\/span><\/strong>: you are where you are right now — you\u2019ve been experiencing what you don\u2019t really want to experience — because you made the choice, at some unconscious level, to be there.<\/p>\n Some people will argue that they didn\u2019t choose their present circumstances. Or that it\u2019s luck. Or \u201cthe breaks\u201d. Or they say they\u2019re on \u201cpart of a learning curve\u201d or something. But the truth is that you can look at every area of your life: your marriage, your bank account, your relationship with others, your parenting, your physical health and the fact remains the same: you are where you are because that\u2019s where your opinions, beliefs, and decisions PUT you.<\/p>\n Have you noticed that compared with the person who is \u2018being\u2019 sad, the person who is \u2018being\u2019 happy seems to have all the time, all the money and all the energy to do important things in their life?<\/p>\n Many people think that if they had more time, more money or more energy then they would be truly happy. But they don\u2019t get the connection between \u2018not being very happy right now\u2019 and \u2018not having the time, money or energy they want.\u2019<\/p>\n There\u2019s a principle we\u2019ve learned recently that is one of the most IMPORTANT principles to \u201cgrasp\u201d with all your mental strength.<\/p>\n Truly, if you can understand what we\u2019ve shared above, and what we\u2019re about to share right now, you can take your life into many WANTED experiences FAST!<\/p>\n The principle we\u2019re about to reveal is unfortunately used backwards by most people.<\/p>\n It\u2019s called BE-DO-HAVE and, just like we have in the past, a lot of people get stuck in \u201cruts\u201d (whether financial, emotional, or mental) because they\u2019ve got the flow reversed. As in HAVE-DO-BE.<\/p>\n You know these people (maybe it\u2019s you).<\/p>\n Like, you probably know of somebody who\u2019s said stuff like, \u201cIf I only had more money, I\u2019d invest,\u201d or \u201cIf I only had more time, I could start a business\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n We talk to many, many people every day who are in the process of creating a true \u201cLife Without Limits\u201d experience for themselves\u2026 but, still, even in this pool of ambitious people we know, a great majority still don\u2019t take certain \u201cassume the role\u201d steps that are essential.<\/p>\n For instance, most people, when asked \u201cwhat do you want out of life?\u201d respond with:<\/p>\n ><\/span> More Time Yet statistically, only 21% of the entire population even has a passport. However, $54 Billion dollars were spent on lottery tickets in 2005 alone.<\/p>\n So, which group of people do you think is most likely to travel the world?<\/p>\n The BE-DO-HAVE principle says\u2026<\/p>\n \u201cIn order to have something, you must first take on the role of already having it.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n So, for instance, if your goal is to become a full-time online entrepreneur, like us, then with every choice you are given on a day-to-day basis, you simply ask yourself the question:<\/p>\n If I already was a full-time online entrepreneur, what would I choose?<\/p>\n BE-DO-HAVE is simply BE<\/strong> the person first, DO<\/strong> what that person would do, then you\u2019ll HAVE<\/strong> what that person has.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Emulate someone who is achieving the results you want. Ask yourself what that person would do in your situation given a decision that would bring you closer to your goal. You will get an immediate response, void of the limiting emotions and beliefs that often hold us back.<\/p>\n Whether you understand it or not, the BE-DO-HAVE principle applies to your life. Choosing not to apply it could be the very thing that is keeping you from achieving results in every area of your life and from obtaining all the wealth and freedom you desire.<\/p>\n Study this principle, apply it to everything you do, and just imagine what you can achieve!<\/strong><\/p>\n Sure, when you strip it down to its core, it\u2019s nothing more than a way of looking at life. It is nothing more or less than that.
